Position: Clerk/Assistant Description Analyst

The Hillsdale County Equalization & Land Information Department is seeking to fill the position of Clerk/Assistant Description Analyst. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, have a positive attitude, a pleasant demeanor, excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize short and long term projects. Knowledge of tax law, data processing, property descriptions, and other aspects of property tax administration desired.  This position is a Grade 3 (Step 1 $17.94/hour). Benefits include medical insurance (employee pays 20% of premium), vision, defined contribution retirement plan and paid time off. Employee paid group dental insurance and AFLAC is available.
